This guide walks you through the five steps to get Asistian working for your business. By the end, you’ll have at least one channel connected, an AI assistant configured, and your team ready to respond from the unified inbox.
All plans include a free trial so you can explore the platform before committing to a subscription. No credit card is required to get started.
1

Create your account

Go to app.asistian.com/register and sign up with your email address. You’ll be asked for your name, business name, and a password. After confirming your email, you’ll land on the Asistian dashboard and your free trial will begin automatically.
2

Connect your first channel

From the dashboard, open Settings → Channels and select the channel you want to connect first.
  • WhatsApp: Asistian uses the official Meta WhatsApp Business API. You’ll go through a short Meta verification flow to link your business number. Your phone stays connected and continues working normally — you don’t need to log out of the WhatsApp app.
  • Instagram: Connect your Instagram Business account by authorizing Asistian through Meta’s standard OAuth flow.
  • Facebook Messenger: Link your Facebook Page in the same way. Messages sent to your Page will start appearing in your inbox immediately.
You can connect additional channels at any time from the same Channels settings screen.
3

Configure your AI assistant

Go to Settings → AI Assistants and create your first assistant. Give it a name, write a brief description of your business, and add instructions for how it should respond — for example, your business hours, the services you offer, and any questions it should always escalate to a human agent.Once saved, your assistant becomes active on the channels you assign it to. It will begin responding to incoming messages immediately, 24 hours a day. You can update its instructions at any time without restarting anything.
4

Invite your team

Go to Settings → Team and click Invite member. Enter your teammate’s email address and select their role:
  • Administrator — full access to all settings, billing, and data
  • Manager — can manage conversations, view analytics, and configure some settings
  • Agent — can respond to conversations assigned to them
Your teammate will receive an email invitation with a link to set up their account and join your workspace.
5

Start responding from the unified inbox

Open the Inbox from the main navigation. All incoming messages from your connected channels appear here in real time. Your AI assistant handles conversations automatically, but you can jump in at any point — type a reply, reassign a conversation, add an internal note, or close it when it’s resolved.Use labels and custom inboxes to organize conversations by type, status, or team so nothing slips through the cracks.
