Asistian integrates with two Google services: Google Calendar for appointment sync and Gmail for email. Once connected, appointments booked through Asistian appear in your Google Calendar automatically, and your team can send and receive emails through Asistian without switching to a separate mail client. Both integrations use Google’s standard OAuth flow, so you authorize access securely without sharing your password.Documentation Index

Google Calendar
When a customer books an appointment through Asistian, the details sync to your Google Calendar in real time. This keeps your availability accurate and gives your whole team visibility into the day’s schedule. What gets synced:- Appointment title and description
- Date, time, and duration
- Attendee information (name and contact details)
- Any notes added during booking
Google Email (Gmail)
The Gmail integration lets you connect your Google Workspace or personal Gmail account to Asistian’s unified inbox. You can send and receive emails alongside your WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook messages without leaving Asistian.Connect your Google account
Choose the service to connect
Select Google Calendar, Gmail, or both, depending on which integrations you want to enable.
Sign in with Google
Click Connect with Google. You will be redirected to Google’s sign-in page. Enter the credentials for the account you want to connect.
Grant permissions
Review the permissions Asistian is requesting and click Allow. Asistian only requests the access it needs to sync appointments and send or receive emails.
Google requires you to complete an OAuth consent screen before granting access to your account. This is a standard Google security step. Asistian requests only the scopes necessary for calendar and email functionality. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account’s security settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
