Name and describe the assistant
Give the assistant a name (for example, “Sales Assistant” or “Booking Agent”) and write a description of its purpose. This helps you manage multiple assistants on higher plans.
Configure its instructions
Write the instructions that define how the assistant should behave — what it can help with, what tone to use, and any information it needs to answer your customers’ most common questions.
Assign it to a channel
Select which inbox or channel the assistant should cover. You can assign different assistants to WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram, or specialize them by purpose (receptionist, sales, support).
Handing off to a human agent
Your customers can always reach a real person. At any point in a conversation, a team member can take over from the AI — or a customer can request a human directly.
